Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Northwoods at Hilltop, one of the few of its kind in New York State , is seeking a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to become an important member of our pediatric through geriatric recovery team.  You will find a friendly team-approach to providing patient care and will be able to work with a variety of different staff, patients and families that utilize our center from throughout New York State . 

As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, you will work with traumatic brain injured, ventilator dependent or otherwise medically complex children, adults and their families.

Requirements Include: 

-CTRS or eligible

-Bachelor's degree in Recreation required

-Experience with long-term care documentation preferred.

-Rehabilitation experience preferred.
